What should i do to make my hair softer like my cousins?

Ive tried for a while trying every conditioner(BTW i am a guy) i thought i found something but hours later my hair just dried out again but my cousins seems to stay managable so i was wondering what i should do to make it look better for a longer time.......I AM ASKING LADIES ONLY.
